Today a large number of artists are living and working on the grounds, including those who are part of atelierWG (in Pavilions 18 and 19) the initiator of the airWG residency program.atelierWG has developed numerous art activities, hosted exhibitions, including monthly open studio events, and has organized international exchanges with artists’ collectives.

Since 2006, atelierWG has its own gallery exhibition space, puntWG. It offers an interdisciplinary project space and stage for the arts, with a lively programme of exhibitions, performances, concerts, lectures and discussions. As of September 2015, atelierWG has started an artist in residence program, airWG.

AirWG is organised and coördinated by the airWG team, a group of visual artists, who are interested to host an (inter)national artist in residency program at their studio building in Amsterdam.
